Learning objectives will include:
- Understanding the basic principles of psychodrama (the story) and constellation work (the energy pattern) and how they complement each other.
- How to use and adapt psychodramatic warm up activities to connect the group and permit the presence of ancestral cooperation.
- Assessing when a person is ready for constellation work and when psychodramatic enactment is a more helpful choice.
- Easily incorporating mindfulness, art, symbol, ritual and props in a variety of group and individual settings.

Among one of the first practitioners to incorporate the powerful action approaches of psychodrama, the original experiential method, and systemic constellations work, the newer method that explores our energetic connections with our ancestors, she has presented at the national conferences of each modality. She is a member of the steering committee for the 2015 North American Systemic Constellations Conference, scheduled Nov. 12-15 in San Diego, Calif.
She is the author of Integrating Psychodrama and Systemic Constellation Work: New Directions for Action Methods, Mind-Body Therapies and Energy Healing with Ronald Anderson and other books about experiential methods, including Healing Eating Disorders with Psychodrama and Other Action Methods: Beyond the Silence and the Fury with Linda Ciotola. Her most recent book is Show and Tell Psychodrama: Skills for Therapists, Coaches, Teachers, Leaders.
She has been recognized with the Hannah Wiener Award and the David Kipper Scholars Award by the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama for her contributions to psychodrama for more than two decades.
