How are you doing?….How are you really doing? This is a seemingly simple question many of us have been asked repeatedly over the last year and many of us have not known the answer. It has been a time of uncertainty, isolation, loss and change (both positive and negative).  As we begin to emerge from pandemic isolation into public spaces and seeing each other’s faces, it can be easy to fall into pre-pandemic patterns and quickly try to get back to “normal”.

In this workshop, we invite you to pause and take stock… Who are you now? How did Covid-19 affect you? What was your experience? Where do feelings around the pandemic live in your body? What did you learn? What do you want to take with you and what would you like to leave behind? These are the questions we will explore in this 4 week workshop.

We recognize that though this experience has been collective, we have been affected individually and no experience has been the same. We will give time and space for each participant to express their own unique story through visual arts, movement, mindfulness, role playing, improvisation, and more.

Join us as we support each other in beginning this new chapter in this collective story!

Healing the Wounds of History, developed by Armand Volkas, “Helps participants work through the burden of shared historical legacies by transforming their pain into constructive action. By humanizing each other through sharing our personal stories we take steps towards healing personal and collective wounds using creative and experiential methods.”

Space will be limited.

No acting, art or movement experience is necessary. Shy folx welcome.

This workshop will take place on Zoom.
